URGENT!!!! Ben was living out in a colony of cats and kittens who had been fending for themselves after they were dumped in a wooded area to live or die. Ben was the sweet protector of the group....just a kitten himself....he fought off dogs, other large male cats, and anything that threatened his brothers and sisters. But he always had a soft spot in his heart for people...lvoign and curling around them....just begging to be their cat. No one took him in....no matter how much he begged.....
And then...after a long year of trying to win over the hearts with big purrs and soft-pawed hugs...this boy was finally offered a home....his tests showed that he was positive for FIV. Ben's heart broke. Now he woul dnever get to live inside with people. Now his chnaces of ever being adopted are almost zero. Poor Ben...if only people understood that FIV is not a death sentence (Check out the Facts: Many cats live happy lives for over 10 years with FIV....and often even with other non FIV+ cats!) Poor Ben....with FIV he should be kept indoors in a safe home where he can be protected from kitty colds, etc. (his immune system is much weaker than that of other cats without FIV)...but instead he will have to live out his life in a garage...just trying to hang on...unless you would be willing to give him a chance....could you do that for sweet Ben?

B-Dub was the last of a family of feral kittens to be rescued and had to fend for herself for a two weeks before we could find her. She is a beautiful black and white kitty who is very curious and explores everywhere. She is still somewhat shy around people but is learning to trust humans more and more each day. The time she spent alone has made her the slowest of the three kittens to trust people but she loves other cats and will make a great pet.
